Water Baptisms
Getting baptized is a significant next step because it outwardly demonstrates what Jesus has done inside of our hearts.
Jesus died and rose again so we could be forgiven of our sins and be made right with God.
In the Bible, after people declared their faith in Jesus, they were baptized in water.
Water Baptism is a public declaration that you are:
(1) a follower of Jesus Christ, (2) beginning a new life with with Jesus, (3) part of God's family.
When we are baptized, as we go into the water, it signifies that our old life of sin is dead and is buried with Christ.
As we come out of the water, it signifies that we are being raised to new life with Christ.
